We focus less on education and more on indoctrination and the tests measure nothing. For instance, algebra is a required course in college. It’s useless to most students and will never be used in the lives of most of the students. Learning budgets or business math would be more practical and useful. At least they should have a choice. Most of the courses are a repeat of high school. The curriculum needs to change such as learning about leadership, team building skills, logic, strategic management, world affairs, global economies or legislative affairs, and other courses that can be applied in every profession.
