Hold my cards got to go save a life shirt

In magic books (and on instructional DVDs), most of the time you will see the deck of cards being held in the left hand (non-dominant for most people) and the card sleights being performed with the right hand (dominant hand for most people). But this isn’t an entirely satisfactory answer and there is no reason at all to think you have to conform to this…or even to using your dominant hand. There are simply no sleights that require a right- or left-hand.
