It most certainly is a double standard but that’s what our society has deemed acceptable. It’s bullshit. No one has the right to touch you, in any capacity without your consent. that it is wrong regardless of which gender is the agressor or the victim. The reason why I think it is more of an outrage when a woman is touched/ fondled is because since the beginning of forever the man has been looked at as the protector. Not saying that women are weak and need protection but it is ingrained in us since the dawn of time. f course, there’s a double standard. There’s a difference in gender and how we treat one another. That means there’s more than one standard.
