I still to this day remember things that where said to by my own dad and Official vintage 1973 shirt. I still am hurt by them. My daughter is only one but I still tell her every day she’s beautiful and she makes me happy. My dad always puts me down he doesn’t realize it still hurts me I have told him how I feel but he never says anything! Always accept your children the way they always love them! This is sad, but it is so true. A child can be marked for life by negative thing said to him all his young days growing up. Also by others that continue to drive those bad words into his head. I am sorry you experienced parents that didn’t encourage you or speak positively to you.
