I do not have one drop of Opa and Kleinzoon Vrienden Voor Het Leven shirt the first note of the Zorba always puts a smile on my face which is a great big grin by the end of the dance. It is simply pure joy. Wonderful music and dancing. Recently went to Athens and didn’t see or hear any- so disappointed. As a family, we went to a beautiful Greek wedding and my sister and I was the only ones that could do the Zorba dance. I learned to do that when I worked in Greece in 1969 at the Nereida just outside Athens. I used to stay after our show so I could listen to bouzouki music and dance. Saw many famous people there too – Onassis used to come in sometimes.
